Soccer 2011

Here is an adorable layout with my adorable girl!  I made the flowers with coffee filters and lace.  Sooo fun!!!  And I added tons of bling and made it very vintage by roughing up the edges and inking.

I love scrap therapy.  :-)

More butterflies

Butterflies

I needed a thank you card for my sweet Heather who is heading off to camp soon and has resigned as my Children's Ministry Assistant.

I made 6 of these cards using the same sketch but changing a few things.  I love the way they turned out!

More left over supplies...

Left over supplies...

What do you do when you have left over papers from a layout or project? I have an accordian file folder that I keep scrap papers in but after I finish a project I try to make myself use the left overs to make cards. Sometimes I'm inspired and a card comes quickly, sometimes not and I just need to put the left overs away so I can get onto another project.

Today I was in the mood to use my left overs. :-)) I knew the matching flowers would get lost in my stash so I decided to make some quick cards.

It was fun!
Have a safe and happy long weekend!

Cards from the Scrapbook Weekend

Here are some quick cards I made at the Scrapbook Weekend using left overs from some of my layouts.  Can you tell who is getting that last card???   :-))))

Happy Mother's Day to all of you!!

Scrapbook Weekend

Here's a couple more layouts I did at the scrapbook weekend in Quesnel.

On the "You make my heart sing" layout I used Inka Gold on the HEART letters again.  I also had fun stamping and cutting all those flowers and hearts!

On the "My Princess" layout I painted my chipboard letters then added Tiny Beads to the bottom of the letters using Crystal Effects.

I also made all the flowers from paper and then added Tiny Beads to the centers as well.  Oh and don't forget the white paint!  One of my favorite techniques these days is using white paint.

:-))

Party Time!

I went to a scrapbook weekend a couple weeks ago with my good friends Carolyn and Brenda.  It was so fun!  They are sweet ladies!

And I found this new product called Inka Gold and I'm in love with what it can do!

I met this wonderful lady Wanda who owns a home based scrapbook studio in Quesnel and she showed me so many new ideas!  She is super sweet!  And she is the one who's got me onto this Inka Gold stuff.  I'm going to do a class on it in a couple weeks and I have some for sale.  You are going to love it!!

On this layout I used Inka Gold in Pewter to color my Party Time title, the swirls and around the photos.  It's great stuff!

Enjoy!
