Here is fun layout I did of myself. ;0) I love that the colors match my hair color! lol

I used some really old MME paper that I had (the white and black flowers) and paired it up with new purple Bo Bunny paper to create is stunning color combination.

Fall 2014 Retreats!

Here is the info for the FALL 2014 RETREATS!  :)))

Retreat #1:  October 17-19

(Registration of $90 is due by September 12th.  If payment is not received by that date your spot will be given to the next person on the wait list.)

For those that haven't attended a SCRAP THERAPY RETREAT -  the ladies this last spring... LOVED the smaller atmosphere.  They LOVED all the home made meals and said they felt like a treasured princess being pampered not only with wonderful food and unique inspiration... but with lots of laughs and fun!    

The Retreat includes FRIDAY night Scrapping from 5pm to 10:30pm and supper and snacks:))

Wild Rose Studios and scrappy challenge!

I super duper love Wild Rose Studios Stamps! I couldn't help myself and I had to make some more! I just love to Copic color them... and I'm super into WHITE cards these days!!

And it's time for a Scrappy Challenge!!! This time the challenge is WHITE! You must use white on white. It can be a card, layout or project... but it must be WHITE! There can be a tiny bit of color, like coloring a stamped image for example... but most of the project needs to be white. :))

Deadline to enter is Sept. 1st at midnight. :))

Prize is a gift box of Scrap Therapy goodies!!

OK Gleaners

The last TEN days have been filled with FUN!!! Many of you have heard me talk about the OK Gleaners in Oliver BC. Well we just got home from the OK Gleaners yesterday!!

The OK Gleaners is a non-profit organization takes left over vegetables from BC growers/farmers and with volunteer power, they chop the veggies, dry them, and make them into a dry soup mix. This soup mix is sent out globally through relief organizations such as Red Cross and World Vision to third world countries to aid in global starvation/poverty. The OK Gleaners produce about 5000000 (yes million!!) dry soup servings a YEAR!! Once the soup package arrives at the needy family, they simply add water, boil it and serve. It is chalk full of nutrition! :-))

We heard a story of a Prince George couple that arrived at an orphanage in Africa that houses about 170 children this past May 2014. That day the kitchen staff of the orphanage knew they had nothing left to feed the children or themselves. The shelves were bare, the fridge completely empty. This Canadian couple arrived with OK Gleaners soup!! Enough to feed the children that day and many more to come! This soup really is saving lives. :-))

Last fall at my retreat I sold raffle tickets to a Tim Holtz Vegabond machine with all proceeds going to the OK Gleaners. It was pretty cool to drop off $332 in cash to this wonderful organization!! Thanks to all the ladies that bought tickets to help support this wonderful organization!!

Wild Rose Studios!!!! I love Wild Rose Stamps! I tell you it was tough to pick only one of the new stamps to work on! I want them all!! :))) lol

I do love this little dear and hedgehog. Ohhh so cute. I colored the images with my Copics and added them to white cards. I'm so into white cards these days! I like the clean look of it. :))

Mini Book celebration!

I had a ton of great photos from my 40th birthday celebration and wanted to do something special with them. So I made a mini book! I had soooo much fun glam'ing up the front cover with all my layers! And I used the Tim Holtz page protectors inside to create this cute little book. It was quick and easy to do and I love the outcome. :))

Bo Bunny Enchanted Garden layout

I did this layout with the new Bo Bunny Enchantment paper. I LOVE the colors! These are Trin's favorite colors too. :))

I used paste on the background of the page then sprinkled glitter onto it while it was wet. I used a Dusty Attic Ivy piece and colored the stem with Copic and Inka Gold on the leaves. I die cut the birdcage and bird and then painted them. I added a bit more sparkle, flowers and some bling to complete this stunning page. :))

Frosty Day layout

I did this sparkly page up of Trin's birthday party. I love the pale colors and lots of white. I used lots of paste on the background. Plus I made tin tape tags on the left side. I also added lots of snowflakes and sequins to make this page look all wintery. Love it!

Kaisercraft Violet Crush layout

I love this layout!! My husband and daughter have the most beautiful eyes and it was easy to build this page with such a stunning photo. 
I used the Kaisercraft paper and cut lots of the flowers up to go along the sides and bottom. I added some lace and swirls. Along the top I painted Dusty Attic branch pieces and then patiently glued beads onto the berry part of each branch. It look lots of time but was worth the look!

Autumn Song by Bo Bunny layout

Here is a great layout I did up recently. I used the Autumn Song paper by Bo Bunny and added my own touches. :)) I LOVE autumn colors! It's one of my favorite seasons. :)) I cut the leaves out of paper with a leaf die. I used Tarnished Brass flakes.... cut lots of the printed paper out, added ribbon, butterflies and voila! A great layout. :))
