NEW INKA GOLD!!

I just could help myself!!!!!!!! I had too... just HAD TO open some of the new INKA GOLD colors!! I have eleven new colors that were just released.

Gold Brown
Apricot
Rose Quartz
Hydrangea
Magenta
Ice Blue
Aquamarine
Turquoise
Jade
Mint Green

On this layout I used Magenta, Turquoise, and Aquamarine. I rubbed the Inka Gold right onto my paper and then cut it too look like sunshine rays. But I couldn't stop there! I had to add it to the clouds, paint the flower and rub some color along the edge. Ohhh I love Inka Gold! it's sooo easy to work with. :))

Tim Holtz or Copic?

So are you a Copic fan or TH Distress Marker fan? Recently some of my customers have been asking me about Copic and how to use them. Well I had never tried them before so I picked up a few colors and gave them a shot. 

I colored the exact same image in Copic on the one side and TH Distress markers on the other. Which one do you like better?

A Scrappy FLOWER Challenge!!

I want to hold onto summer as long as I can... so I've been creating FLOWER cards to keep me cheery and remembering the days of sunshine! :0)) Also I love to garden! So all these cards remind me of my gorgeous garden and all the variety of flowers and colors. 

The Challenge will be to make a CARD, LAYOUT or PROJECT using FLOWERS on it. Any kind of Flowers! It must be a new project that you have made for this challenge. The deadline is Sept. 10th. That gives you TWO weeks to come up with some great ideas!

Belugas!!!

I've loved this Glitz paper since the day it arrived! And I finally got to use it with this fun layout about my fav water creature... the Beluga whale! I used lots of left over letters as well to create this whimsical page. :0)

Chalk paper

The new Chalk paper from MME is super gorgeous and easy to use. it's regular 12 x 12 paper that is black and has some printed designs that are in white to look like chalk. You can use a GEL pen to write directly on the paper. I used lots of left over embellishments to spice up this trendy new Chalk paper layout. :0)

Scrap Therapy retreat

A SCRAPPY RETREAT

The third Scrap Therapy retreat will be held 

NOVEMBER 1-2-3, 2013 

at the KINSMEN COMMUNITY COMPLEX (off of 5th Ave near Spruceland).  

For those that haven't attended a SCRAP THERAPY RETREAT - it includes FRIDAY night Scrapping (I don't advertise the Friday night because it is technically my STORE SET UP TIME but you can come and get set up and scrap till 10pm. No meals friday night)

OWLS!!

Okay I think most of you know I LOVE OWLS!! And I've received MANY AWESOME OWL gifts from my family and friends. Yesterday friends of mine gave me these adorable OWL stickers!! So tonight at the CROP -- WHICH by the way thanks to ALL the ladies who came to shop and crop tonight!! you guys are awesome!!! I got to make these great cards. Aren't they soooooo cute!!? I just love owls!

BABY CARDS

I was getting short on baby cards so made up a few using my cupcake liner design. I love this card's simplicity and great color combos.

I did up this fall layout using some of my favorite things... owls, chicken wire and autumn colors. Sweet. :))

I just LOVE this stamp from Penny Black and couldn't resist having my mom and girls color a few of these up as well! So cute!!

KIDS CARDS!

For some summer fun craft time with my girls and my mom... I asked them to color ALL the images after I stamped them. They had such a great time coloring and blending while we visited and chatted with each other. It was a great afternoon! I then finished all the cards off as cute and yet simple as I could. We made a dozen of these to stock pile for a year of kids birthday parties coming up.
