A few more projects...

A few more projects... :-))) Here is another card using a Dreamweaver stencil for the Nativity scene.  I used the paste on black paper then once the paste was dry I used Tim Holtz stains to color it.  I like the soft effect it gives.  :-)

I took this dollar store wood box, painted it and covered it in rub-ons.  I made the flower with paper and a die cut.  The tulle is Early Espresso from Stampin Up and I love this stuff!
I also used some of my fav paper flowers to finish it off along with some bling.  yeah gotta have bling!

This project took me a while to make.  :-))  It was an old silverware tray from my buffet and when I saw the compartments I knew it had to be turned into a gorgeous tin tape project!  I used lots of bling, jewelry, flowers etc to make this a piece of art to be treasured for years to come.

Kimi

More Christmas Cards

Hi again!

These Christmas Cards were made by taking Crumb Cake card stock and running it through different embossing folders.  Then I sprayed some glimmer mists onto my craft mat, turned the crumb cake paper upside down and smeared it into the wet glimmer on the mat.

Then I added some fun stuff to finish them off.  Sweet.  :-))

Merry Christmas!
Kimi

Dreamweaver Card

Here is a Dreamweaver Card that I missed when I published the others!

This one is using the Dreamweaver stencil and paste along with Gold glitter.  :-))

My TIN TAPE Obsession!

The next pictures express my obsession with TIN TAPE!  Yes I love the effect.

On this Card I tin taped a card base then ran it through the Big Shot with the Holly Dreamweaver stencil and it embossed it.  Then I painted it black, wiped it off and added my colored Inka Gold.  The first card is using Red and Olive Inka Gold.

This card base I also ran tin tape through the Big Shot with the Holly stencil but then afterward I painted it pink and rubbed Graphite Inka Gold on top.  I really love these colors together.

For this card I ran the tin tape thru my wood look embossing folder.  Then I painted it black, wiped it off and added the Red and Olive Inka Gold.
The poinsettia is made from coffee filters and the FABULOUS Tim Holtz poinsettia die.  LOVE IT!  Then I sprayed the coffee filters with Red Glimmer Mist to give me gorgeous looking poinsettias.

Same idea but using the Brick embossing folder instead.  :-))

I saw this wonderful plain wood Cardinal at Michaels and knew instantly it needed to be Tin Taped!!!  Again I used the Red and Olive Inka Gold to finish it off.

I hope your inspired to create!  And if your interested in Tin Tape classes... I have a few coming up soon so please email me.

If you'd like to purchase any Inka Gold I have lots of colors and they are $8.50 a pot.

ttyl,
Kimi

I have SOO many Christmas Cards to share!

Thank you first off to all the ladies who came to the RETREAT two weekends ago.  It was SUPER awesome and fun and I'm so thankful for you all!

Scrap Therapy is ALL SET UP IN OUR HOME as a home based studio/store.  So please give me a call anytime you'd like to stop by and go shopping!  I have TONS of great products.  :-)))

I will be hosting an open house in the next couple weeks so I'll keep you posted as to dates for that.

Here are a BUNCH of great Christmas Cards I've come up with lately.  :-))

These first few are using Dreamweaver stencils.  Which I'm in love with!!!!  They are my new passion.  They are so versatile and fun to use.  For the first card I put Sookwang tape on a card base, then attached my stencil.  Next I Gold Leafed the sticky part which you see is gold in the picture.  Then I removed the stencil and sprinkled white glitter on the base sticky card to create this incredible looking card.  So fun!

The next card I taped the Dreamweaver stencil onto the Old Olive card base.  Then using the Dreamweaver paste I spread it out over the stencil.  Then I removed the tape and stencil and sprinkled German Glass glitter all over the wet paste and voila!  Gorgeous effect.

The next couple cards where taken from a sheet of the new Simple Stories Christmas line.  I cut the tags apart and used them on a variety of cards.  I like the look of them.

Have a wonderful day!
